Streekly Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 July 2026
Streekly ("the app", "we", "us") is developed by Found Forge ("the developer"). This policy explains what data Streekly collects, why, and what rights you have over it.
1. Data we collect
Account data
When you register or sign in (via Google Sign-In or email/password), we collect and store:
- Email address
- Display name
- Profile photo URL (if signing in with Google)
- Authentication provider (Google or email)
This is handled by Firebase Authentication and stored against your account record.
Streak data
Data you create in the app while using it:
- Streak names, descriptions, and frequency (daily/weekly)
- Check-in history (dates you marked a streak complete)
- Current and longest streak counts
Subscription data
If you subscribe to Streekly PRO, Google Play Billing and our subscription provider, RevenueCat, process:
- Purchase and subscription status
- Transaction identifiers
We do not receive or store your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Google Play.
Analytics and diagnostics
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app usage and diagnose crashes. This includes device information, app usage events, and crash/error logs. This data is not directly tied to your name or email.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, notification scheduling data (times, streak references) is stored locally on your device and is not sent to us.
2. Why we collect this data
- To provide the core functionality of the app (creating and tracking streaks)
- To authenticate you and keep your data private to your account
- To process and manage your Premium subscription
- To diagnose crashes and improve the app
- To send reminder notifications you've opted into
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Where your data is stored
Your account and streak data (Cloud Firestore) is stored in Google Cloud's europe-west2 (London) region.
Firebase Authentication caveat: your authentication record (email, unique user ID) is stored on Google's global Firebase Authentication infrastructure, which is not regionally pinned to the UK/EU in the same way as your Firestore data. This is a limitation of the underlying service, not a choice we make per-user.
4. Third parties we share data with
We use the following processors to operate the app. Each acts under its own privacy policy and, where applicable, a Data Processing Agreement with us:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase | Authentication, database, analytics, crash reporting | Account data, streak data, usage/diagnostic data |
| Google Play Billing | Subscription purchases | Purchase/transaction data |
| RevenueCat | Subscription management | Purchase status, entitlement data, anonymous user identifiers |
5. Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account). Doing so permanently and immediately deletes:
- All your streak data
- Your account profile
- Your Firebase Authentication record
This action cannot be undone.
6. Your rights (UK GDPR)
If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data (available in-app via account deletion)
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability
- Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at daniel@foundforge.net.
7. Children's privacy
Streekly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
